流星是指運行在星際空間的流星體（通常包括宇宙塵粒和固體塊等空間物質）在接近地球時由於受到地球引力的攝動而被地球吸引，從而進入地球大氣層，並與大氣摩擦燃燒所產生的光跡。流星體原來是圍繞太陽運動的，在經過地球附近時，受地球引力的作用，改變軌道，從而進入地球大氣圈。流星有單個流星、火流星、流星雨幾種。在掉到地面之前，大部分都已燒成了灰燼，少部分會變成隕石掉到地面上。大部分可見的流星體都和沙粒差不多，重量在1克以下。流星進入大氣層的速度介於11km/s到72km/s之間。人們通常為它賦予美好的意義，認為看到並對著流星許願就能實現心願。

A meteor is when a meteor body (usually including space particles such as cosmic dust particles and solid blocks) which moves in interstellar space, is attracted by the earth due to the gravitational perturbation, thus entering the earth's atmosphere and resulting in light trails due to friction and combustion. A meteor body originally moves around the sun. When it passed near the earth, it gets affected by the gravity of the earth and changes its orbit to enter the earth's atmosphere. Meteors include single meteors, fire meteors, and meteor showers. Before falling onto the ground, most of them are burned to ashes, and a few will be turned into meteorites and fall on the ground. Most visible meteors are similar to sand particles and weigh less than 1 gram. The speed at which a meteor enters the atmosphere is between 11 km/s and 72 km/s. It is common for people to endow beautiful meanings to such a natural phenomenon and believe that praying upon the meteors can realise their wishes.

2018年12月15日，拍攝於遼寧省葫蘆島市綏中縣，利用給長城城樓補光的方法，表現夜空相對比，表現了星空和流星之美。使用佳能5D3相機，16-35佳能鏡頭，16MM焦距，曝光時間25秒，2.8光圈，感光度1250。

It was photographed on December 15, 2018, in Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. Using the method of supplementing the light of the Great Wall Tower, it showed the contrast of the night sky and the beauty of stars and meteors. Canon 5D3 camera was used, along with 16-35 Canon lens, 16MM focal length, 25 seconds exposure time, 2.8 aperture, ISO 1250.
