蓋斑鬥魚在求偶前，雄魚會先在水面上吐泡泡，當泡泡形成一團時，雄魚展現身上鮮豔的體色吸引雌魚，而雌魚受到吸引緩慢地游向雄魚時，雄魚則會將身體彎成U字型，待與雌魚接觸，雄魚會立刻夾住雌魚並翻轉，讓雌魚腹部朝上排卵，再讓卵進入事先準備的氣泡中等待孵化。

Before the paradise fish start courting, the male fish will spit bubbles on the water surface. When the bubbles form a bunch, the male fish displays a bright body colours to attract the females, and when the female fish is attracted by the male, it will swim slowly toward the male fish. The male bends its body into a U-shape, and when it comes into contact with the female, the male will immediately pinch the female and turn it over, so that the female will spawn with the abdomen upward, and then let the eggs enter the air bubbles prepared in advance for hatching.

拍攝時間為2012年5月，使用Canon 7D+100micro並以機頂閃補光，採用45度斜角拍攝，避開了水面的反光。影像後制的部分，剪裁部分水族箱畫面，使用修圖軟體調整了銳利度、對比與飽和度。

The shooting time was May of 2012. I used a Canon 7D + 100micro with flash light on the top of the camera to shoot at a 45-degree oblique angle to avoid reflections on the water surface. After the image was created, part of the aquarium screen was trimmed off, and the sharpness, contrast, and saturation were adjusted using an editing software.
