尺蠖（chǐ huò），尺蛾的幼蟲。屬於節肢動物，昆蟲綱，鱗翅目，尺蛾科昆蟲幼蟲統稱。尺蠖身體細長，行動時一屈一伸像個拱橋，休息時，身體能斜向伸直如枝狀。完全變態。成蟲翅大，體細長有短毛，觸角絲狀或羽狀，稱為“尺蛾”。

The measuring worm, or inchworm, is the larvae of geometrid moths. It is categorized as arthropod, a collective name of larvae of the Class Insecta, in the order Lepidoptera. The inchworm is slenderly-built, and is able to bend and stretch in the shape of an arch bridge when moving. When resting, the body can stretch straight like a branch. It undergoes complete metamorphosis. Its adult form has large wings, with slender figure, short hairs, and filiform or feathery antennae. They are called " geometrid moths."

2016年6月5 日，拍攝於浙江省寧波市甯海縣黃壇鎮西溪水庫，相機型號：Canon EOS 5D Mark III；鏡頭：EF100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM；快門速度：1/160s；光圈值：F25；焦距：100.0 mm；感光度：ISO500，尺蠖正在爬行的時候按下快門，記錄下這一個精彩瞬間，後期簡單的拉了色階，增加了對比度。

It was taken on June 5, 2016, at Xixi Reservoir, Huangtan Town, Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, with the camera model: Canon EOS 5D Mark III; lens: EF100mm f / 2.8L Macro IS USM; shutter speed: 1 / 160s; aperture : F25; focal length: 100.0 mm; ISO500; the shutter pressed while the inchworm is crawling, and this wonderful moment was thus recorded. Later process simply pulled the colour scale and increased the contrast.
