香蕉弄蝶又稱香蕉苞蟲，主要危害香蕉、粉蕉、芭蕉、美人蕉等。 平腹小蜂是種卵寄生蜂，體型嬌小，身長大約3mm，外觀像小螞蟻，有透明的翅膀，能夠飛行，壽命大約二十多天。平腹小蜂會把自己的孩子產到香蕉弄蝶的卵裡面，把香蕉弄蝶卵裡面的組織吃完，孵化出來就會是平腹小蜂，借由這種特性成了香蕉弄蝶的天敵。

The butterfly banana skipper, also known as palm redeye, is a pest for plants such as banana, musa acuminate, plantain, and canna. Anastatus sp. is an egg parasite with small body shape of around 3mm. It looks like a small ant, has transparent wings, can fly, and has a life span of more than twenty days. This type of bees will lay their offsprings into the eggs of banana skippers, and eat the tissues in the eggs. When the eggs hatch, they will be Anastatus sp.. With this feature, they become banana skippers’ natural enemy.
